Default Is my turbo working? Please help!

I own a 2002 XC 70 that I haven't had for long. I knowingly bought it with a transmission issue, changed the fluid, replaced B4 Servo, and will drive the car hoping the transmission shifting improves.

But I've noticed the car seems to lack power. I can't tell if the turbo is working or not. How can I check the turbo? I've read it's possible to "turn the blades" of the turbo, but how do I get to the blades?

Any other advice regarding checking the turbo or related components will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Best thing to do is connect a turbo gauge to an intake port and drive it. If the gauge goes into boost you know it is working.
