Default Rear windshield washer pump

I have a 2002 xc70 I bought used a few years ago and the rear windshield washer pump has never worked. I've searched the car over and over and haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know where it is located and what fuse it is on? The car has evidence of a fender bender on the passenger front, and I know thats where the pump for the front window is located, so I suspect that the rear pump was damagedin an accident and never repaired. I just dont want to drill out the rivets to open that wheel well up if I don't need too.

Before you start digging into too far, I would check to see if the line is not clogged. Then if you want, you could try switching the washer lines so that the working pump powers the rear line as another check. I believe that the fuse is the same for the front and rear pump.

I verified that the rear pump is good... then went to check the relay. Guess what. No relay. Last ownerborrowed it to replace a badhorn or front wiper relay. Can't blame them, these relays are expensive! Anyone know a good cheap source for these??? Volvo P/N 944116

Try FCP groton If they do not have it you could check the dealership or possibly find a suitable replacement at Radio Shack
