I would remove the intake pipe and the fan at the same time. You need a very long 1/4" socket extension to get at the screw clamp that holds the intake pipe onto the ETM. Once that is loose remove the top two screws to the fan and loosen the bottom two. You should be able to remove the fan first and then the intake pipe. Don't try to remove either one without disconnecting the intake pipe it will be very difficult. Take the battery out also just to get more space. Now onto the starter: There is one large bolt that holds two red wires to the back of the starter and a single green wire that has a plastic clip. There are two bolts on the transmission side that hold the starter and one bolt that bolts to the engine that holds a bracket on the back of the starter. This is rather easy to do and should only take about an hour to replace.
