Steering Pull Left, Car Dive right
I need your help
I'm new to the forum. Just bought my second Volvo 6 months ago. It's a 2002 XC70.
Problem: When I brake, especially from high speed, the steering wheel pulls to the left slightly (about 1/8 turn) and the car Dives to the right like I'm making a fast lane change.
I have had the car aligned, new tires, aligned again, looked at by two shops, and no one can figure it out.
I have also replaced tie-rod ends and struts. I even changed the oil
It tracks straight while driving and at lower speeds it doesn't dive to the right so much as I get that little left tug on the steering wheel.
It seems that others on the web are having similar problems, but the only suggestions are tires and alignment... I'm at my wits (and wallets) end...
