Wax solvent discolored vinyl
Love my 2006 XC70 so much, I've waxed it e few times since I bought it about 6 weeks ago. First time, I tried Nu-Finish on a small section... what a disaster! The solvent in that stuff created what crazzing wherever it touched the brown vinyl trim. I only used it on one section of the car, but the vinyl below that section continues to show the white discoloration, even after many applications of vinyl restorer (Armoral UV vinyl protector, and Nu-Vinyl). These just wash off in a few days and the white marks on the vinyl show again. Any ideas?
I switched immediately to Turtle Wax, which is much better, but still causes some of the same problem when it gets on the brown vinyl...)

I have tried every product out there to remove the wax and have found nothing that works. The best I've done is to use Leatherique cleaner solvent, then their Rubber Dye to redye the trim and bumpers. Its a pain to do this, but the car looks great.
If your interested in waxes, the best I've ever found is either Dodo Juice Supernatural or Zaino, both kind of pricey, but the car looks great.

Take a mixture of dawn dish detergent 75 water/25 dawn, and see if that takes the wax off.. Don't supersaturate the leather, but should work..Personally I ONLY use liquid Glass on my 850 and 240..... It's easy on and super easy removing it and is also a paint sealer, so less work down the road.....http://www.liquidglass.com/lgpolish.htm
