05 xc90 t5 power failure, cem fuse keeps blowing
we purchased our 05 xc90 about a month ago with 57K miles. After about 1K miles the car broke down on my wife. complete power failure, ac, windows etc. Then the engine died.
I towed the vehicle back to the dealer and the tech found a blown fuse, #4 50 amp for the cem. It is the double tab fuse on the block next to the battery. He drove the car for over an hour in city conditions and no problems.
He gave me the car said all is good. I drove it about 100yds and the instruments all went dead. Pulled the car back into the bay and turned off, it would not restart, the same fuse blew again.
The tech is stumped and was going toget on the volvo mx hotline. Has anyone seen this or hace any ideas. I believe it is the cem based on what I've been reading.
