Would swapping the 3.2l for a 4.4l be a simple swap in a 2007 xc90 awd?

 

not at all simple even if the motor mounts and transmissions lined up, the big problem is that modern engines are married to their specific wiring harness, computers, sensors etc Simple would be to sell the car with the 3.2 and buy another with the engine of your chosing.
