2006 XC90 V8 electrical issue
just recently my fuel gage will go to zero as well as the miles to empty will read: _ _ _ ._ Also even though it is freezing the snowflake isn't always appearing. Any help would be appreciated.
should be under warranty?..
I found this in another forum:
According to the manual:
A "snowflake" symbol in the text window is displayed when the temperature is in the range of 23 - 36° F (-5 - +2° C).
Please note that this symbol does not indicate a fault with your car.
OK. Cool. I was wondering why my snowflake wasn't on in my car at very cold temperatures.

So the dealer told me that the issue was the fuel level sensor, and they replaced the fuel pump assy. The issue went a away for about a week, and then did it again other day. This issue only happens on startup, and sometimes the gage will intialize and then fault out. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I took it back for the dealer and they kept the vehicle for a day, and said that the problem has been fixed. They said that the software needing updating (previously they said it was fine). My wife drove it this morning and it did it again. Anyone ever heard of this issue?
