Hello all. First post here... My wife and I own a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and are looking to upgrade to a Volvo XC90. She has always been a fan of Volvos, but this will be our first venture with a foreign car. We have two toddlers who are obviously getting bigger and we want a vehicle that is extremely safe and a little more comfortable as we travel from KY to FL several times a year. I recently found a XC90 at carmax that I'm having transferred. It's a 2008 V8 w/ sports package, 71k miles, and also has the DVD system in the headrests. Their 'no haggle' price is $19998, which I feel is pretty fair. It kbb's for $26k. Am I getting a good deal or should I keep looking? I really want a V8 because I'm so used to the Hemi in the Jeep and they keep getting harder to find in the XC90. What else do I need to be aware of with this kind of mileage? Are there transmission, suspension, engine or electrical issues? Thanks so much!
