Default Coolant leak from turbo

I have a 2004 XC90. Today I noticed all the coolant was empty. I filled it up and it was completely empty in minutes. It looks like it is leaking around the turbocharger. Should I replace the whole turbocharger or is there maybe a bad hose or gasket?

really depends on what the cause is but you may need to pull off the turbo to figure it out. Could be a seal, could be an expansion (freeze) plug. Can you get under with a light/mirror to get a better look as to where its leaking from? You didn't mention how many miles on the car but if the turbo is coming off, it can also be rebuilt with new seals to extend its life. Rebuild kits run about $50 and there are vids on Youtube which show the process.
