My cruise control "button" sticks when trying to turn on. Sometimes I cannot get the control on, sometimes not off. When on, sometimes it just comes off (while the cruise control green indicator stays on). The on/off is very stiff, sticking, clunking, etc. I'm guessing the unit is going bad. Can I replace/fix this without going to the dealer and pay $500 for that piece of plastic?
