Just over at my local dealer (in the NE) and he says there is almost no way to find an XC90 without the Versatility Package. This adds alot to the bottom line and my kids are too big to get back there anyway. Is this tru or is he feeding me a line?

 

On the 3.2 it is listed as an option so you should be able to get one without the package already fitted.

The V8 and the Sport do not list the Versatility Package so I would assume it is fitted whether you want it or not.

Speaking of packages, how can you tell which package your car has if you aren't the one who bought it from the dealer?? I looked at the link posted in the response above in the build your volvo and I haver certain features from one package but not all of them. example I have the heated and electric front seats that come in the package that says the rain sensor comes with it. I don't believe that I have the rain sensor... at least not that I have figured how to use.

so how can I tell what I have.

They must send them all to Arizona. I was at our local Volvo dealer in Tucson, AZ about 3 weeks ago for some service and they had two or three new 2008 XC90s without the versatility package.
