The parking brake pedal in my Volvo XC90 was pressed and the release lever doesn't release the parking brake. Does anyone know if I can release this manually? I want to drive the SUV to the dealer instead of having it towed. The cable that connects the release appears to be broken since pulling the release lever offers no resistance and moves out but the brake remains activated.
