I have a 06 Volvo XC90 v8 and i am having a hell of a time getting the belt back on. i originally had to replace one of the idler pulleys and then while trying to put the belt on after replacing the pulley i broke the hex head off of my tensioner so i had to replace that as well. Now I just cannot get the belt back onto the pulleys there's just not enough slack. i still have the spring compressor on the tensioner that came on the brand new one. Im afraid to pull the tensioner anymore and risk breaking the head off again. any advice?
