2003 XC90 T6, the front hood probably got hit by some stone chips on highway a few years ago and the paint was broken. Now the paint starts peeling off from that area. To repaint the hood, the stealer gave me a quote of $1.5K, .

I'd like to take off/install the hood by myself and just take the hood to a body shop to have it repainted to save some $$$. I searched the forum/web, but can't find any info on this. Any instruction/suggestion is appreciated.
