Key fob only works when placed on reader
Had this 2018 XC90 T6 Momentum for 3.5 years. Bought the car with only one fob. Changed the battery when keyless entry stopped working a couple days ago. Keyless entry still doesn’t work and the buttons don’t work. Car only starts when fob is placed on reader. Before I make the ~$800 plunge to get a new fob programmed, is there any other option that’s reliable and slightly more affordable? Thank you in advance!
