Hey Everyone

Nice to meet you all. I bought a 2016 Volvo XC90 t6 r-design with my wife this fall. It is -20f or -29c right now and we have been having problems with our Volvo app heating up the vehicle. It won’t run the heat at the setting we leave it at and the fan is barely blowing until we get in the vehicle. Also the seat heater doesn’t turn on till we get in the vehicle.

Is there settings to fix this? Why have a remote car starter if it won’t heat up in cold weather enough?

Second question. Why can’t I lock the doors with the vehicle running with my key when I leave it? If the starter won’t warm the vehicle then I want to start it and let the fan run on high.

Third, when you put your fan on max, why does it automatically go to the AC? Annoying feature considering half the year you want a fan on high with heat instead of AC.

I apologize if these are annoying questions that have been answered somewhere in the past.
