Default parking brake
Wife just took her XC90 with 60K to the dealer. He said her parking brake cable was stretched so bad that it and the parking brake box had to be replaced. She never uses the parking brake. Has anybody else run into this problem? Any ideas on how this could happen?

Yep. Seems to be a problem in areas with lots of road salt. Cost me $100 to fix at my local dealership.
