Default Passenger Compartment Fuses

I need to replace the fuse for the 12V sockets. Is it necessary to remove the panel on the driver's side of the console first and then remove the cover underneath the dash to get access to the fuses, or is there an easier way?

Thanks

I am not privy to the XC90s but I will try.

First thing I would do is to go over the owner’s manual. I do not believe you need to remove something big just to get to the fuses.

What year is the car as the fuse boxes changed between 2004 and 2005?

On my '06, that's how it's done. It requires an allen wrench to remove the underdash panel.

What an ordeal, just to replace fuses.
