Default Rattling Noises

I have been hearing a squeaky/rattling noise under the front of my car (more on the passenger side).I took it to get an alignment done and they said they couldn't do the alignment because it needed new front control arms. So yesterday we replaced both front control arms and the noises came back even louder. But now the sound is more on the drivers side?
I know i need new tie-rod ends, could that be the noises? Or do you think it could be struts?
I dont want to spend a fortune replacing things that don't need replaced.
Clearly my control arms weren't bad, and now the sound is worse.
What do you think ?

You can't get an alignment with worn tie rod ends either. Just because the noise is still there doesn't mean the control arms were good. The bushings tear all the time. Without hearing the noise, it's hard to tell what it is. Take it for diagnosis, most noises are easy to pinpoint.
