Default shopping xc90 need help/advice

Been shopping xc90 for a few weeks

First luxury car with a sunroof I fit in (very tall driver)

what advice would you give a new buyer for this particular model?

my thoughts so far:
-avoid 2016 MY
-which trim line is best bang for buck?
-options to get vs avoid?
- air suspension worth it?
- is T5 not worth the money savings?

welcome input

i.e. to do it over again what would you tell a new buyer

It depends on what you want out of the car. You will be happy with any of them.

If you plan to have the car only within its warranty, if applicable, then don't worry about best years.

Models:

The AWD's typically have better braking and slightly stronger suspension parts (although 95% are all identical because Volvo)
They tend to have the larger brake disk option and heavier springs etc... This is for towing capabilities.

The Excellence I feel is for people with money burning a hole in their pocket
I also always try to avoid the base level, so the Momentum is out

So do you want something sportier or more luxurious?
R or Inscription

Options:

I really love the "Technology" package I think now called the "Advanced Package"

I haven't had a chance to try the air suspension yet. It looks good and people rave about it. Very Very expensive to repair however!
