2013 XC90 146000 miles. Regularly maintained.
Just for anyone doing some troubleshooting.
Daughter's volvo xc90 stumbled while driving, then ultimately quit. For only a moment, a misfire code for number 4 presented but then no CEL.
Battery was nearing 5 years old, so I replaced it anyway and did all the usual checks.
ICarSoft scan tool revealed good fuel pressure. So, I checked the ignition fuses and the 20 amp Ign coil fuse under the hood and it was blown.
I replaced it and it immediately blew. On a whim, I checked number 4 coil pack and it was fried. Replaced the coil pack $60 from Advance Auto and a Denso plug and viola.
The only strange thing is the local auto parts don't stock six coil packs at one location, so it'll take a day to collect them all. But, gonna do the swap.
