Towing with the newer 4 cyl XC90's

Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a new(er) XC90 to replace my existing 2013 XC60 6cyl AWD that has served me well but has 180,000 miles. It's rated for 3,000 towing capacity and I've towed utility trailers with kayak's and up to a ton a of sand / gravel / mulch and have had no issues. We just purchased a 20' travel trailer that has a dry weight of 3,000 and loaded weight of 4,500, hence we need something with a rated 5,000 towing capacity.
My concern is how well a 4cyl turbo unit pulls a 4,500 load plus 2 adults and dog in the car with some added luggage as well. I sure wish Volvo still had a 6cyl non turbo offering. I'd like to buy a 2018 - 2022 XC90 rather than an older 6cyl with less miles than my 2013 XC60. Does it have the torque to do a good job? We plan on several trips a year of about 3K miles round trip.
Hoping to stay with Volvo but may switch brands for someone offering a 6cyl mid size SUV (Maybe Audi Q7)
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
Bill

Looks like you would need a T6 XC90 to get 5000lbs towing capacity. Check out this page as it also has competitor vehicles linked. Those numbers will apply to 2019-current xc90s.

Fuel economy ranges 8-12 MPG.
Get a good hitch and sway control system and an electronic trailer brake control (one option is Curt ECHO Bluetooth controller)
