In this video you can hear several bursts of quick winding noise from our Volvo XC90 Center Pillar. This problem has been going on the past 2-3 years. The seat belt does not tighten or move at all when you hear this noise. The feature where the seatbelt becomes tight when the car thinks you are about to have an accident seems unaffected.
My Volvo dealership essentially has offered no help in this issue. Does anybody know what this noise can be. It has been present for over 2 years. It comes and goes.

Edit: I have a 2017 XC90 T6 inscription. It’s super low miles. Sits in a garage and is pampered. The video has my kids complaining about something or other lol… such is life.
