Blower just stopped working without warning, no noises. Took out blower motor and checked it outside of car, motor would spin. So bought new resistor and replaced, Now outside of car motor not spinning, reinstalled and is getting power to all wiring but blower will not spin. I'm so irritated. Buying a new blower motor but if this doesn't work, any ideas on the problem?

 

The heater fan motor has +12 volts going to it all the time.

What makes it spin - is a variable ground. The resister controls the ground, not the +voltage.
