So in a moment of boredom yesterday I painted the calipers on my S40 red. My brother was painting his Civic calipers so I thought I'd join him. It didn't turn out too bad. Here's some pics form different angles...

Did you take the calipers off or just mark stuff off with masking tape? More importantly is there any bits you have to be careful not to cover with paint?

What did you use to paint your calipers? I'd like to do the same to mine as well, but I'm not sure what type of paint to buy or how to do it.

 

High temp engine paint.

Get the highest your can buy.

 

You can buy special heat resistant brake caliper paint available from most auto stores
