Volvo S80 door handle

How do you repair a Volvo S80 door handle? It opens from the inside but not from the outside. Pulling up the door lock still does not allow the outside handle to open the door?

The rod might have fallen off the outer handle you need to remove the panel and check what is going on.

Remove the panel and check it out..

it opens both ways..
