I have a 2004 S80 2.9 with a broken right front interior door handle. I have stripped the door down for the replacement. I find the handle is riveted in with some heavy duty rivets. I can drill them out, but can I replace the new handle with heavy sheet metal screws? The rivets look heavier than my pop rivet gun can handle??? Or do I have to get them riveted back in?

I would suggest that you have them installed by a body shop. If you take it to them and only have them rivet the new one on, maybe they won't charge that much. Like $60 or something like that. I'd call around.
