Flashing Arrow on Dash, W, E, S lights blink on & off
Help,
Went to star the car - nothing. Came back a few hours latter and cycled the shifter, the car started. This AM, same problem and cycling the shifter or starting in N - no joy. Lights blink 2 at a time, depending on which button is pushed.
Pulled the battery cable - arrow on dash board is on but does not flash, W is on constantly and car does not start. Can not turn W off.
Any suggestions ?? I suspect PNP but flashing W, E, S, are they an other issue or part of the PNP problem.

Problem resolved
Hi,
Pulled the PNP switch and cleaned same - done by a 16 year old mechanic on the island (car is not allowed off island). Switch was full of yellow grease. Took air drive impac wrenches to break loose some of the bolts. Cleaned contact tracks and copper tabs. Put back together and all is well. Job took about 4 hours. Followed https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/fo...hp?f=1&t=29930 guide for all the work.
Many thanks to all the community - the beast is back on the road.
