help please! door panel instruments wont work, any info?

Default help please! door panel instruments wont work, any info?

i bought my volvo not long ago knowing that the electrical door instruments did not work. now its time to tackle the job and would like to know if anyone has any info on were to start besides fuses, already tried it. thanks

Have you looked at the plug in the door jamb? These doors just plug in on the assembly line. I think you want to unplug one just to see how it's made. If you can find a pinout (probably) you could probe it as well at that point, and not have to crawl under the dash.

thank you ill defiantly take a look though it looks like previous owners might have already since the door panels are broke in some places.

The wiring in the door just plugs into the side of the car in plain sight. Up next to the hinges.

the door electrics on the v70s is quite a common fault they can be changed
