Default Light switch in doors

Does anyone know where the switch is located in the front doors for the interior lights?

My front left door's doesn't work (resulting in my wife locking the keys in the car a few times, as she opened the door to get something, left the keys on the seat and closed the door. The car then automatically relocked, not detecting that the door had in fact been opened).

My front right door's switch only works when I open the door from the outside. If I open the door from inside the interior lights don't come on.

Any help would be appreciated

The doors are controlled by "door latch activators" or something close. They are mechanical/electronic controls that "sense" things. At a cost of about $150.00 each and a little bit of a pain to remove and install (three hands, two heads sort of thing). Try searching door lock actuators and I think you will find out more information. Replaced one and now another is bad. Guessing things won't be right until I have replace all four!
Good luck.
