I have a 1999 Volvo V70 GLT.
Lock pickers have been at work in it, the intire lock assy. is hanging down under the dash.
How can I fix this? Perhaps a new lock assy, from Volvo? I s there another way around this?
Would hate to give uo this car for expensive work.

depends what you need to have done. You can get a new ignition switch, new lock tumbler/key or both. You may want to call a dealer to check if the new key/tumbler needs to be programmed to match your car for your model year.

OK, I have parts no. 2 and 4 for the ign switch. I don't know whar part no. 3 is, I may not have it.
If I stick in part no. 4 in the ign switch (secures by two screws...) and secuere it, I have part that goes into the ingtion from other side that allows me to get the lights on the board to light up, but the car wont start.
I may have an ignition immoblizer (9203820), but the parts wont tell me...
I have an Volvo XC awd, by the way...
Pictures may be on way, If i figrure out the camera works.
