fuse for cigarette lighter
I was using a screwdriver to remove the plug from the back of the front cigarette lighter and forgot the ignition was still on!!! Sooooo i have blown the fuse. THe one in the back is on all the time and the fuse is in the back passengers side.(which is ok) however the one in the front is controlled by the ignition key.
Can anyone tell me where the fuse is? i dont have a manual and all online manuals dont seem to apply to this model.
I have a 2006 v70 right hand drive
Also can anyone tell me if the courtesy light are daylight sensitive because at the moment they only come on when it starts to get dark
regards
James

Quick update on the fuse issue. the courtesy lights are controlled by a sensor which is located in the middle of the front dash. it would have been nice if the manual told you about this.
Still unable to locate the fuse for the front cigarette lighter (which also works the centre consol one in the back)
Any body got an idea?

Thanks for the reply.
Thats where I looked as well but although there is holders for about 30 fuses my car only has 11 fuses fitted. I also wondered if there may not be a fuse for it and it may be controled by a control module although no fault codes have appeared.
It is not a huge problem because I dont use the socket very often but I would still like to know how to get it working again.

problem solved
Was near a volvo garage yesterday and decided to go in and ask where the fuse was for the cigarette lighter. The mechanic gave me a knowing smile and said that there was another set of fuses (in my rhd car) under the panel above the pedals. (on other models may be in passengers footwell). Took the keys off me and within 15 minutes the car was back all fixed and no charge. Good service I think.
Hope this may help others.
