cigarette lighter fuse?
Hi there,
I've got a bit of a problem, my 12v lighter socket on my v40 has stopped working, does anyone know which fuse it is?
i cant see any blown in the fuse holder, but then again i'm not sure which one specifically i should be looking at...
any help gratefully appreciated

RE: cigarette lighter fuse?
thanks for that, do you know what else is connected to this fuse?
i unplugger the fuse and lost the lighting for the dashboead and the heated seats, but when replacing the fuse, the lighting and seat heating worked but still no cigarette lighter. does anyone know if there is an additional in line fuse on the socket cable?
also if anyone knows how to get the socket out of the fascia i'd appreciate any advice.
thanks
Rich

How to remove the socket also depends on the year of the car.

come to think of it, i'm not sure, i'd assumed that the heated seats weren't working, but it may have been just the lights.
the car is an s reg v40 1.9 td, the model just before the updated v40 the lighter socket is behing a panel that swings up when pushed. this is really annoying as with no 12v outlet sat nav is a bit short lived...
cheers
