Have 2002 V-70 wagon. It needs a new alternator so I can start with a jump but after so many times jumping it to limp back home, it is totally out of gas. So I get my gas can, release the gas cap panel door THEN discover it won't release, I'm guessing because the car can't hold its elec. charge? Is there another way to open the panel I don't know about?

 

Yeah . you have to rear inside the rear cargo panel and pull it manually
