My 02 v70 2.4t has a cracked cylinder head and I can't find them anywhere. And I can't afford dealers cost it's over a $1200.00. can someone help me find a cylinder head? It's cracked coolant jacket and it's burning coolant but isn't pressurizing the coolant system yet.all the help I can get would be helpful

 

You sure it's the head? Have you removed it already?

 

It has to be. There's no signs of headgasket failure . No coolant pressurizing. No leaks. It's just burning coolant. And in a inferred temp sensor cylinder 4 is noticably colder in the exhaust manifold port. .. these volvo's go again anything and everything logical

 

Way more common to have a cracked cylinder sleeve, so check those once you have the head off.

 

Cracked sleeve ? I really hope not.

 

try using car-parts.com to find a recycle yard near you or one that will ship.
