I have replaced my hood release cable but, unfortunately, lost the cable end going through the firewall. Can someone help with a picture or description of how to find the grommet from the interior side? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

I finally found it way up under the dash panel surprisingly more towards the center of the drivers seat. It was hidden on the firewall side under the plastic cowl drain duct. Finally I have a working release again.
