Insert the key, no dash lights, won't start
Hello, everyone:
I'm new posting here, but I've checked out the forums for my different hoopties, I've purchased, over the years.
I have a 2001 xc70 that has a stalling issue that I think is tied to either the throttle body(I had it replaced when I first purchased the car in January) or the MAF sensor. I leaning toward the latter because it stalls after it's been idling for a while or after being driven for a while.
Having said all that, the car has been great, so far. Until yesterday afternoon...
I pull up to a softball game and I turn the car off. I see I'm a little close to a tree, so I try to restart so I can move. NOTHING. I put the key in and the ignition turns, but no dash lights no error messages, nothing. My interior lights come on when I open the doors. The batter is almost new, 3 months old.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray
