What kind of glue adhesive should I use on the back of the thin mirrored glass to re-attach it to the mirror back plate? Silicone? Epoxy? Urethane gorilla glue? It is a heated mirror with remote control. Thanks.

I had the same problem and reattached the mirror with Permatex Red RTV silicone gasket stuff.

The red shows through the words on the right side mirror which makes it interesting.

I got this tip from my local Volvo service company in Ithaca... not the dealer. .
