The rear window of my 2000 C70 convertible partially fell down today. Only the bottom edge and part of the sides are holding it. Looks like you could glue it and it would work. Any ideas if that is correct, what glue is used ? Otherwise is there a better solution ?

Please advise.

Sounds like something you need to have done at a shop.

If you did it wrong and it feel out and flew backwards on the highway then you would be responsible for what ever happened.

Trim shop could not do it. Went to the dealer to see. They say they cannot do it, must replace the top and you'll never believe what they want for the top. $7,500 + tax. I believe that take the provebial cake...... I thought I had heard it all. I asked what do you do if the back window is broken and must be replaced? It is the same as my problem with the glass falling down. They had no response for that.

Needless to say I could use some help becauseI definitelycannot replace the top. I really feel betrayedby Volvo because these things shouldnot be happening to a car of this stature.

That is true. unless you find a trim shop that will do it you need a new top.

The window is glued in from the factory. Not many places at all will reglue them but there is some out there.
