Default indicator problems

HELP!! can someone tell me why my hazzard lights work but my indicators dont? i dont know if it is them indicator arm becasue the headlights still work off it... any answers?

Maybe the relay is bad.

i was looking for an indicator relay under the hood and couldnt see any all i found was a hazzard lights fuse and that was ok... could it be under the dash? if so which one? lol thanks for the reply

Most likely under the dash.
Not sure what the Year and Model it is if it is a 740 it might be in the Fuse box behind the Ashtray.

ok thanks for that im gona go look at it in a bit... is there any chance of it being the indicator arm? also how can i test to see if it is a relay or how do i test if a relay is not working properley?

If you locate the relay and it doesn't click make sure it has power to it.
Then make sure you have power at one wire with the switch in the on position.

hey it wasnt the relay i tried fitting a new 1 and no luck, when i first tested the old one it clicked when i had the hazzards on but when i turned the indactaors there was nothing same with the new relay... what should i try check now?

Test with either a meter or Test light and see if you get power to the relay when you move the switch.
It could still be a ground problem by the relay.

ok ill test to see if i get power but what do i do if im not getting power? and what do i do if i am getting power?

If you have power then you need to trace the ground circuit.

If you have no power then I would look at the switch.

hey thanks for all the help but ive finally fixed the problem it was a fuse that was marked under a different name thats why i couldnt fix it first time i checked the indicator fuse, anyway thats that and if i have any more problems ill be sure to come find you lol, thanks again and hope to hear more from you again...
