2009 s80 3.2 upgrade radio options?
First time poster, we found a 2009 s80 3.2 with 60,000 miles for $7600 for our new teenage driver. Car looks to be in Great shape and well maintained. Going to look at it tonight. Of course my daughter wants to know if the 2009 have Bluetooth to play music through the head unit? I found that it has Bluetooth for calls and an aux input, but not USB. Or if bluetooth plays music. Vin search showed it had HD radio and Sirius
I'm good with adding to factory headunits (done full amp and speaker upgrade integrated into stock ford head unit for the last few of my f150's) but I have not done a head unit swap since 2000 explorer.
i found a metra kit with harness and dash pieces ($300)
are there any other options?
Can I put an 8" floating screen head unit that is compatible with proper harnesses? Seems like hvac displays are shown on the radio screen. steering wheel controls? I was thinking of the upgrade to get her apple car play for navigation

Bluetooth in that car is for phone only, it will not stream music.
You will find it very expensive to TRY to replace that system to one with more capabilities such as Nav and music streaming. Below is what your ICM (infotainment control module) looks like - you probably won't find an aftermarket unit that will fit in that space. Years ago I used a proclip mount like the one below - mounted a ball on it and attached a garmin nav screen. Centered it over the emergency flasher button to not block the ac flow. Removed it a few years later and it left no marks. Added a 12v outlet behind the water fall (easy to extend the wires from the existing outlet without taking much apart, just drill one hole behind the waterfall) Then the power wire was somewhat hidden and not draped across the interior.
