Default call me crazy

I for one kinda like neons on cars. I know im prolly gonna raise a few eyebrows and lip curls for saying that but, If its done right i think it looks nice. Little color for the night. I actually have some neons, green, that have been sitting in my closet for about three years now. I was gonna put them on my eclipse when i was told they just wouldnt fit. I was thinking with my ground effects on the car the neons might look nice. This isonly though if they are done right, meaning you cant see the actualbulb portion, just a strong glow underneith. However if its gonna mess with the electrical system and cause an issue i am not gonna do that lol.

So i have a choice. since selling them would just cost me more then they are worth.

1. I put them on my car.

2. i put them under my couch. little cool effect when i have a little party.

your thougths?

ROFL... the couch is a great idea...
I like the looks of neon underneath some cars (edit: but not the Volvo). - Just to be clear.

But that's just one opinion.

Ugh...

I for one wouldn't put them on a Volvo period. Even if it was a pro install and they were so concealed that even someone with an X-Ray couldn't see them.

It looks RICEY, TACKY and just plain UGLY. Don't cheapen the car you have. Also in most places it is illegal to have them on while driving.

Put them somewhere in your house or sell them.

could be worse, i could be asking, " where should i put my (insert brand part name here) sticker, so i can maximize the 20 extra horse power the sticker gives me"

Although i will say a buddy of mine has a nice civic with an aero kit. Thats all it has, its an 05 i think, and it looks nice, but he has injen stickers on the front lower bumper cause he actually has an injen cold air intake. I dont know why its a civic, and automatic. but still it really actually accents his car nicely not ricey.

I think sometimes not alot but sometimes, something labeled as ricey, can accent a car well.

No I'm serious. I would have said that regardless of the title when you talked about putting neons on a Volvo.

no no you have a point, and if you see the stuff i pull in my cars, you would still be like yup, crazy as a (insert whatever). I can live with crazy.

I remember watching Star Wars episode II in my apt with my roomate. and if you recall when anakin is driving the speeder he says " sorry master, i forgot you dont like to fly" Obi says " Flying i dont mind but what you doing is suicide".

My roommate busted out laughing and actually was on the floor, cause she had never seen it. i was like ummmmm its not that funny, she finally stopped crying and said " no you dont get it, thats me when im in the car with you ". It was then i started to laugh too.

Neons are actually fine if you know how to handle them. Nice idea about putting them under the couch. Really cool.

sorry guys if its good enough for the ladies its good enough for me . we will see what i decide. If the electrical systems are as touchy as i ve seen, it will just end up being problematic.

I just think they could be used for something cool. I will let you know which, i decide.
