Yo! The 1/8 in.capillary for the oil pressure gauge let go on me this morning,(where a tie-wrap was holding it)but I made it in before the oil ran out, so I still havea motor. For today, I will replace the capillary, but Iwas thinking of ordering an electric-sender gauge , not bad: $53 Cdn. HOWEVER, for around $100, I can apparently get one that has an audible alarm should the oil pressure drop. A) Any suggestions B) was my capillaryon thepump intake circuit - which would explain why it would have ran forever if there had been a sufficient quantity of oil? I ask because I frequently look at my gauges and everything seemed oky doky.
Can't be unlucky all the time......gotta say Thanks for this one.
Cheers! UPDATE JUNE 20: LEARNED ABOUT ALARM BUZZER AND LOW OIL PRESSURE AND COOLANT HIGH TEMP SENDERS. Am ordering. Close the post. Cheers Y'all!
