I just bought an '05 S60 2.5T AWD and i don't want to add a plug n play satellite receiver. I've seen a couple things from USA spec for an Ipod adaptor...but does anyone know if I can use a similar setup for satellite radio?

 

Pretty certain all the USAspec models feature the aux in channel for a direct input. iMiv adapter could also be used for your S60. Plenty of options for you to choose from, their specific information is located on their respective websites.
