Hi, I've purchased a 2002 s80 T6 with the GPS system just today.
I was shown very quick that the system was functional but the DVD was removed for when I took it to inspection.
I'm fairly sure it doesn't go into the 4CD-changer CD player, and I'm asking where can I find the drive?

I am aware that this is a silly question, it's dark and -30 C outside, I've lost patience after 10 minutes. My ego also forbids me from asking the seller or a volvo dealer I might deal with for future check-ups.

I just spent the last 15 minutes looking all over the internet trying to find the answer to your question.. even went through Volvo's owners manual from their website... I couldn't find the answer... anyone that has a s80 know?

I found it this morning. It's in the trunk, left side behind the "protection cushion".
Thanks for trying jonnyboyca, I tried to find it on the internet in vain too yesterday, It's a shame even the owner's manual has nothing mentioned about the GPS in it, aside from the "don't GPS and drive" distraction thing.

 

Why don't you take a picture of the location and post it, so people can easily find it if they have the same problem.
