Default Have a huge problem.

I was driving from Alabama to Washington and first the car warned to check coolant. When i opened the hood no coolant was in the resivior then when i tutned the cap it filled up. So i turned the car on and opened the cap with it running and filled the resivior all the way till it stopped. Then today i was driving and suddenly no power at all. Coolant all over the road. What should i look at first?

Fill it back up and see if it'll run. If it runs, then observe where the water is pouring out. That's what I would do. The water may pour out even if it's not running, which would be great at least for diagnostic purposes.
It's possible to pressurize the cooling system and find leaks that way, and very effective, but I assume you don't have the tools to do that.

Had to scrap the car because upon further inspection, the cooling system had an air bubble in it and the water pump exploded taking the timing belt with it out the side of the cover. I looked online and it looks like she was an interference motor.
