I am hoping someone can help me out with some information. My rear view mirror on my 2006 s40 popped out of the pivot mount. I have tried, without success to pop it back in. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this without cracking the plastic casing or the mirror? Thanks in advane for any help you have! [/align]

 

You have to remove the entire light assembly then the mirror bracket and reinstall the mirror.

Volvo designed it like that so if in a collision it will come off pretty easy instead of slicing the head open really bad.
