Hey, I've been trying to find a shop willing to custom bend me a 2.5" cat-back exhaust system for my 40 for months. None of the shops I have talked to are willing to do it because it involves removing the second catalytic converter. So...I was wondering if anyone would be willing to perhaps have on made for me? I don't need a muffler, I can take care of that here.

I will pay all costs including shipping to my address as well as a little "on top" for your troubles.

I really expected it to be easier to find considering we don't have to pass emissions here, but alas, no such luck!

 

See the hardest part about trying to get this some is the shop will need a car to go off of.

 

I was hoping someone out there had an S40 and had already done this or knew a shop that could do it for me.

 

I know a guy that could do anything you wanted... but he is in cali. not sure you want to take a vaction out here?

check volvospeed or swedespeed or turbobricks. I am sure someone has built these, and could send you one.

 

There's a shop here in town that does that all day, every day! It's called exhaust depot. http://www.exhaustdepot.net/ I think they have done a few for a few S40's here in town....If you end up calling them OR emailing them, ask for Hector and tell him that one of the members (Somthngfrce) off CFLeuro referred you! If they don't offer shipping, then maybe one of us can mail it to you if you pay them to have it made....

No, but exhaust depot does give members of CFLeuro.net a discount off their prices, so he might be able to get a better deal as opposed to just calling randomly.... SO atcha, lol.......

So. Does anyone in Orlando have a early S40 that he could take measurements from as a BIG favor to a guy lusting for that Groooowl? I don't know if any other models share the same exhaust diagram.

EDIT: I'm fairly certain 2000-2004 have the same exhaust system.
