yes, i too have fallen victim to the IPD sting.

i ordered a mesh grill from them, for my 96 850 turbo, 4 WEEKS ago today.

i called them on the 2nd week, asked wtf is keeping it, and some guy told me its still being 'produced', and expect it back in their inventory within 3-5 days, and the 5-7 day shipping will follow. so, 8-12 days more basically.

2 weeks after the first 2 week call, i call again, and they said since it was on a 'back-order' status at the time i ordered, it could still take days or even weeks for them to even get it back to their shop ( the guy tells me they send it off to get powder-coated elsewhere ), and add the shipping.

does anybody see anything about "back ordered" or "out of stock" on this site? i asked him if i could get a shipping upgrade, as this has really pissed me off, and set aside my plans on further ordering parts (now im back to being an internet-sales skeptic), besides having NO notification on the order page, confirmation page, or anywhere about delays. of course i can get the upgrade, to the fastest ground shipping they offer, but at the additional cost of $67.39.

Well I suggest you call and ask to talk to Scott Hart, he is a good guy and should be able to straighten out your problem.

Also they may not have even realized they didn't update the website.

 

yea, their website and callling are tottally different in some ways, IPD is great for customer service.....cut some slack
